Because I am not a full time resident, I wanted to have someone with experience in the process and someone would could take care of all of the necessary paperwork involved. Given his experience and knowledge of the process, he was able to identify a number of updates my home needed in order to pass the final town inspection which were not detailed or even mentioned on the town’s application. “I hired Southampton Home Inspections to apply for a Town of Southampton rental permit for my home in Sag Harbor. I live in Nassau County and not in optimum health. So, I needed an expediter with the experience and the knowledge to obtain the necessary permit for me. Richard Warden, proprietor took me through the involved process. He knew what expectations the town would have to be sure the property was in full compliance. Richard was there for me every step of the way and saw it through, including recommendations and suggestions to the premises to guarantee the property would pass stringent regulations. He was able to personally go to the town to deliver legal documents, as my agent. Also, met with contractors, tenants and ultimately with the town inspector for several on site inspections. Additionally, he was able to do some handyman type work around the house to insure a successful inspection. Richard was courteous, polite, honest and fair.
